In 2024, Icon became the first Australian organisation to achieve both IAOCR certifications. Progressing from Silver to Gold Workforce Process Quality Certification reflects the dedication of researchers, clinicians and research teams across the Icon network, and their shared commitment to delivering high-quality clinical research that improves outcomes for people with cancer.
Icon’s Executive Manager for Research and Icon Cancer Foundation Board Director, Sophie Mepham PhD, said the accreditation was a significant recognition of the people and processes behind Icon’s research program.
