Who we are
Icon Cancer Foundation (ICF) is a not-for-profit charity. We work with Icon Cancer Centre’s national network of doctors and healthcare professionals to fund their vital cancer research.
ICF was founded more than 30 years ago to support cancer research and some serious non-cancerous health conditions. Its mission has always remained the same – to promote and fund innovative research to give patients a longer, better life.
In 2015 ICF expanded its research, and this growth has continued. Notably in 2021, more doctors and staff joined ICF’s independent research program.
ICF fully funds this independent research program in Australia. ICF’s research sits alongside but is separate to Icon Group’s global clinical trials program, which is backed by international industry partnerships.
