Icon Research Fellow, Dr Mohammadmehdi Adhami attended this week’s ANZUP Cancer Trials Group Limited 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting to present current results of the LIBERATE registry.
This registry, co-led by Icon Cancer Centre Radiation Oncologist, Dr Andrew See and Urologist, A/Prof Jeremy Grummet is examining the benefits of focal low dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy treatment for prostate cancer patients.
The data collected through the registry focuses on the oncologic outcomes of LDR and the possible reduction of side effects that are present in other treatments.
